The Carpyen City Clamp Table Lamp was designed by Gabriel Teixido to give adjustable task lighting a decidedly urbane sensibility. The rectangular reflector rotates 360 degrees at the end of a gracefully arched arm. The contemporary look is completed by a clean, gleaming Chrome finish. The City clamps onto any flat surface up to two inches thick. Carpyen started in Spain in 1954 as a family enterprise and continues the intimate feel of their designs in their contemporary lighting pieces. Designers Antonio Carpintero, Encamacian and Roberto Capintero head the company as industrial talents and Pascual Salvador and Gabriel Teixido, among others, contribute to creating clean, modern lighting with a European edge.
